Next door neighbor and fellow blogger Erica and I are "going manual" for The Photo Challenge Next Door. We both love photography but feel intimidated by our fancy DSLR cameras. So we created this photo challenge to force ourselves to get comfortable with aperture, shutter speed, and ISO. We began by consulting the dictionary on what the heck aperture, shutter speed, and ISO mean. Then, we created a logo by taking silly photos while holding our cameras in Erica's backyard [much laughter ensued]. And finally, we switched our cameras to manual mode, muttered words of frustration, and started clicking away. We'll share the results right here whether good, bad, or blurry.
Every month we'll each share a photo that was taken with our cameras on manual mode. I'll share my monthly photo in a blog post and will also post it on this page. Click on any photo to take you to the blog post where I share a little more about the photo. Check out Erica's photos right here.
