You're My Liebster

Ryoure-awesome

Last week I was so flattered to be given a Liebster Award by Katie at Priceless Adventure! Katie writes, "Liebster is a German word which means “dearest” or “beloved.” It can also mean favorite. The idea behind the Liebster Blog Award is that it is given to upcoming bloggers (with fewer than 200 followers) in order to create new connections and bring attention to wonderful growing blogs."

I read Katie's post on Wednesday morning and it was exactly the dose of encouragement that I needed. I had been expecting to hear back from ASU by Tuesday and when I didn't I convinced myself I wouldn't get the job. Trying to wrap my head around staying at my job - when mentally I was already packing my bags - was making me so gloomy. Katie reminded me of something much happier: all the wonderful people that I've connected with through my blog - most of whom I wouldn't know otherwise - and I loved checking out the blogs of the other Liebsters that I didn't already follow. Thanks so much, Katie!

Now it's my pleasure to pay the kindness forward and share with you my own Liebster awardees! I enjoy reading each of these blogs and connecting with the bloggers behind them. I'd love to meet all of them in real life. Thank you for putting your stamp on the internet world; keep doing what you're doing! *Internet group hug*

If you were awarded a Liebster and want to keep it going, here's what to do!
+ choose up to 5 up and coming blogs with less than 200 followers to award
+ write your own Liebster award post and tell the world about the blogs you love
+ in your Liebster post, link back to the blogger who awarded you to - it's like a blog chain letter, but better!

P.S. happy Leap Year!
